About the Program
At United Community Centers, we believe every child deserves a summer filled with opportunity. That’s why our 9-week Summer Literacy Adventures Program is designed to do more than just fill the days—it helps kids grow as readers, thinkers, and explorers.
Led by certified Literacy Specialists, our program offers personalized instruction, fun enrichment activities, and safe, affordable care. With small-group reading support, interactive literacy centers, storytelling, and exciting local field trips to places like the Fort Worth Zoo and museums, children experience a summer that’s as educational as it is unforgettable.
In 2024, 84% of our students increased their reading levels—and we’re ready to help even more kids soar this summer!
