The Carvey Classic golf tournament is named in honor of Frank and Louise Carvey and the Carvey Foundation. Mrs. Louise Carvey, a dedicated volunteer and board member, played a key role in UCC's incorporation in 1973. Her journey with UCC began in 1957 at the Bethlehem Center, where she volunteered as a music and piano instructor.
Louise Carvey was a passionate advocate for UCC's mission, dedicating herself to the organization's growth and success. Her unwavering belief in UCC’s work with children and families has left a lasting legacy. The Carvey Classic not only honors her invaluable contributions but continues her spirit of giving, bringing the community together to support UCC's vital programs.
