UCC's after-school and summer literacy program incorporates individualized research-based curriculum in small group guided reading, daily message, read-alouds, learning centers, and technology settings that emphasize Science of Reading's instruction of:

The program is offered year-round to students in FWISD and its surrounding area. It is also the host of several supplementary programs.

UCC’s 9-week summer program includes personalized literacy assessment, intervention, & enrichment from experienced educators for school aged children. Fun-filled and engaging classroom activities as well as field trip adventures to practice & broaden vocabulary knowledge.
