for support. There are opportunities for groups
and individuals – single events / projects
or ongoing work. |

Upon return of the volunteer application and criminal
background check form, you will be contacted for
an interview. Some positions may require a drug
screen. |

| Volunteer Times: |
UCC welcomes volunteers Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. In addition to our regular business hours. the following times are available:
Saturday, September 18th from 10 AM - 2 PM
Tuesday, October 12th from 6 PM - 8 PM
Saturday, November 13th from 10 AM - 2 PM
Tuesday, December 14th from 6 PM - 8 PM
Saturday, January 15th from 10 AM - 2 PM
Tuesday, February 8th from 6 PM - 8 PM
Saturday, March 19th from 10 AM - 2 PM
Tuesday, April 12th from 6 PM - 8 PM
Saturday, May 21st from 10 AM - 2 PM
Please give one week's advance notice if you would like to volunteer during these times. |

Volunteer Orientation

Must turn in Application and RSVP for orientation

| Orientation is Mandatory for all volunteers that plan to volunteer on a regular basis. Group Volunteer work and Short-Term volunteer work can have a brief individual orientation by contacting Sherry Dunn at 817-927-5556, ext. 113 or email sdunn@unitedcommunitycenters.org |

VOLUNTEER NEEDS: |

Receptionists
United Community Centers, the National Mission Institution located in the Central Texas Conference, is looking for volunteer receptionists. The hours available for volunteering are 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Volunteers can be full or part time. |

Clothing
Room Sorting and Organizing
Mondays through Fridays 9:00AM – 11:00 AM. Volunteers needed to sort and stock donated clothes so that the clothes are easily accessible to those families in need. |

Food Bank
Mondays through Fridays 9:00AM – 1:00PM. Volunteers needed to sort food, load grocery bags, and meet with families for intake. |

Tutors or Homework Assistance / Classroom Assistant
Mondays through Fridays 2:30PM – 6:00PM. Reading to PreK students, helping with crafts, coaching sports, serving snacks, helping with homework or tutoring. If you enjoy working with children or youth, there is a place for you. |
